Where is a vent and fan? null

Yes, and yes. Vents are all on the bottom though.

More or less the rear of the unit. For better definition look at the disassemble videos on youtube, they show the fans.

The vent/fans are on the bottom of the laptop. I'll attach a picture so you can see what it looks like. I'd recommend keeping the computer on a cool surface instead of sitting it on a blanket. I haven't had a problem with overheating but I'm not running the CPU on maximum either.

Underneath which hasn't been problem as it doesn't run very hot.
