The thing to remember is to check the software package or their website and it will tell you what the minimum requirements are for running that software. I suggest a machine with more than the minimum. Most new laptops come pre-loaded with Windows 10 - if it is an Apple computer it will have IOS. The software package will tell you which of those operating systems will work - or both. If you have purchased a new PC perhaps you are having issues like I am with Windows 10. If so, go to the Krita website and look for updates and drivers under a support tab and follow the directions. Or, contact Krita for help to make the product work. Happy computing.
