A:AnswerYes. has bluetooth and windows media player (comes standard with MS Windows 10). This does have the CRAZY "Windows 10 S" version. Look it up on google. Decide if you want it or not. It locks you into downloading ONLY apps from the windows store. If you disable it, then you can download any apps from anywhere.
A:AnswerWhat is 'basic gaming'. In my view, the answer is yes. It does great for LOL which does use up quite a bit of video, fps at least 100, Runs Koe great which runs on steam. I can't remember the numbers for the benchmark I ran but it was as fast as a gen 5 i7. I don't have any experience with any of the newer GPU intensive games like Crysis 3 and Final Fantasy XV which you probably need a dedicated video card for. This laptop a gen 8 i5 with built-in video so it will do any of the on-line games and quite a few of the other types. If you can run a game on another computer with a low-end video card, then it will run fine on this computer. Note that there is an empty sata 2.5" bay so you can install another drive (HDD or SSD). This laptop is running off of the installed M.2 SSD.
A:AnswerDell-Inspiron Model: BBYW1J46FX does not come with Win 10 Pro. It comes pre-loaded with Win 10S. Beware Win 10S does not permit installing third party apps, it will only load apps from the Microsoft Store. Win 10 Pro could be installed on this computer, but would have to be purchased separately.
A:AnswerI can tell you from experience on two i5 intel based laptops (NOT this one). The one is just about identical to the other in that both have 8 GB Ram but one has Intel HD graphics, like this one; the other has a built in dedicated Nvidia gpu. The one with Intel HD gets somewhere around 25-30 FPS average (highs at about 50-60 FPS). The other with dedicated gpu gets 200+ FPS average (unless in Jungle or Covered forest where it averages about 75-90 FPS. You experience may differ as this is a different laptop.
A:AnswerI had this issue as well.
Fix: Use the charger that was provided with the machine. My old charger only worked for it while connected as well. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerOne open internal 2.5" SATA expansion bay. The other option is to add USB external drive. I recommend getting an external DVD drive like the one pictured (search for "external usb dvd drive")
