QuestionCan the memory be upgraded to 16 GB?Many of the Inspiron and other competitors from this class can be upgraded to 16 GB of memory, and it is a factor is whether I settle on this model. Can this one be upgraded with two 8 GB sticks? Can it be done thru a panel on the bottom? The site says there are two memory slots, while a reviewer said there is only one... where would he get that idea, like is one slot empty, or one on top and one below the mobo?

- Answer There is only one slot and the max configuration is 8GB. A better option to increase performance would be to get a solid state drive. See the pdf manual on the Dell website for complete specs.

QuestionHow long does the battery last for using this laptop?

- Answer I use this laptop usually at near full brightness, always connected to WiFi, with Onenote, and sometimes Adobe Illustrator up, about for 5 hours a day with about 5 hours of sitting in my backpack and it lasts that long. Excellent with battery in my opinion. Mine is about a month old.

- Answer Yes absolutely. I upgraded to Windows 10 on mine for free right out of the box. Windows 10 is available for free through June or July 2016

- Answer Yes. Any 2.5" SSD will work for it. I recommend getting atleast a 256gb
