- Answer Use the FN key --- Hold down the FN key and then press the ' f ' key you want to use, you can this is the settings if you dont want to use the FN key to access the ' f ' keys. if you do switch the FN key option you will need to press it to use the volume, brightness and other like keys,

- Answer Both the specifications refer to the same system model. The 7000 refer to the series of the model while 7791 is the exact model number of this laptop.

- Answer I found the "feel" of the keyboard a little stiff. However, please note I believe that is a good thing. I can type 90 wpm, so I want keys with a little resistance to cut down on my mistakes while typing. Overtime I suspect you will develop a 'feel' for this keyboard, but expect it to get a little looser with time. Hope this helps.

QuestionIs this capable of smoothly running Solidworks? Also is the RAM user upgradeable or are you stuck with whichever pre-selected RAM you purchase? Also I've seen mixed comments about the pen feature, so I'm wondering if it can use the pen or not?

- Answer Solid works is quick, and stable. Don’t know about Upgrading the RAM from 16 GB, which is fine for most of my applications. Have not yet tried the pen feature to answer it appropriately. Overall, quite happy with Inspiron!
