“It worked fine for 24 hours, but now it will not allow wireless connection. On the settings/airplane mode page the Wi - Fi off/on toggle won't go on. The computer will not even attempt to find a wireless network, and I am not in airplane mode.”

• You can try and reset it. And you can put all your files in a usb and that way no files are lost.
