A: You are correct in your reading. The N3700 is a 1.6 GHz normal speed with a burst speed of 2.4 GHz. Think of it as a turbo charger which gives the processor a boost when it needs it. Chances are you will not notice this the speed since the processor will down or underclock while you are using your laptop. This means the cpu will run slower when there are less work being done. One last thing about the N3700. It is built on a small die size of 14nm vs previous 22nm dies. This means to the common person more power savings which is a long battery life while using the device.
