• Yeah I photoshopped my grandma onto a rhino and it came out really well! Would reccomend

• Photoshop - yes. You will have no problems. With regards to # of photos, "large" is a relative term (obviously dependent on the size and format of the photos themselves).

• 512 GB of storage is a lot for most people. Even better that the storage is an SSD, which is faster. So yes, it would handle a lot of photos.

• Yes....depending on the format you shoot with your camera, e.g. RAW or jpeg...or just collecting pictures from others. The 12GB memory and hyperthreading CPU work well with Photoshop and other apps that take advantage of hyperthreading.
