That depends on what you're doing with it....how many other programs you have running in the background and how many pictures (of what format...RAW files are huge) you have open at one time for editing. In general, it is more than powerful enough to use Photoshop which takes advantage of the i7 multi-threading capability.

Photoshop takes advantage of the i7's Hyperthreading capability and the 12GB memory is more that enough for processing. If you have other memory intensive applications open at the same time....it will slow the system down.
