Hi, QueenB, as of today 11/01/22 and probably because of Black Friday the price is $749.99 instead of the regular $999.99. If you wish to have 16GB all you have to do is go to the top of the page and right where the laptop image is. There you will see five dropdown menus: Processor, System Memory (RAM), Screen Size, Resolution, and, Graphics. Please choose/click in System Memory (RAM) and it will give you the option to choose 16GB.
