Hi bob, the Dell Inspiron 3880 you are looking at comes with a 512ssd drive. It does have an extra M.2 slot to add another ssd drive if you want to add more storage like the Intel 660 SSD which you can find on bestbuy.com or you could add an external hard drive via one of the available USB ports as well. No mine just had the ssd drive but I easily added a sata hard drive 2 terabyte
