QuestionToday I've just bought this computer. Condition: OPEN-BOX EXCELLENT - CERTIFIED. However, When I turn it on, it has password protection of previous user ! I looked at the box and I see: floor model...so is the open box floor model????I will return it then

- Answer To get rid of the password go into a Command Prompt (DOS BOX) AND TYPE "netplwiz" at the prompt and press enter. User accounts will appear. Uncheck the box to the left of "User must enter a user name and password to use this computer" then click Apply button and then click OK. Then restart the PC and instead of the PC prompting you to enter a user name and password it will simply go straight to your windows desktop. You can find this procedure in MicroSoft Press Windows 10 Inside/out Deluxe Edition. The book cost $80.00. But just go tp Barnes and Knowble and read it. Look up Passwords in the index at the rear pages of the book. Bring your cell phone to copy the info. Grand National Mike

- Answer Yes, Dell's using their version of an x370 chipset. Can overclock, but I would suggest getting a better cooler since they don't use the Wraithspire that usually comes with a 1700.

QuestionIs this box dual gpu capable? I have an extra rx580

- Answer Yep, I did the same thing. I used the 2nd PCIe 16x port to install another RX 580. As long as you have the current Radeon Crimson software the Crossfire function works perfectly. WARNING -- The air circulation in this case is poor. When running the 2nd GPU you can expect the 1st GPU to reach higher temperatures than the 2nd one. Air will not flow in the narrow gap between the two cards well enough to pull out the hot air.

- Answer So the description photos don't show the HDMI and Display ports. It actually has ONE HDMI and THREE HD Display ports. I use the HDMI port for a 4K TV and one display port for a 1080p TV. To answer your question.... yes. I have connected a gaming Monitor to one display port and have had no issues.

QuestionShould I be worried about the temperature in this computer?

- Answer Not really, but the reference RX 580 does get a bit loud under load so you may or may not find that a bigger issue than temperatures. Mine usually hovers between 67-72 C but can get pretty close to 80 C. You could probably keep it cooler by adjusting the fan speeds but the noise increase just isn't worth it for me.

- Answer I did without issue. I cloned the original drive to the SSD then removed it. System booted to SSD

- Answer Two screws on the side panel (looking at the back it will be the one on your right) - then use the "lock" bracket to help slide the panel open.

QuestionThis question is about using dual display/2 monitors. Can I simultaneously use 2 monitors, say 1 for browsing and 1 for gaming, or, 2 for video editing? The specs only mention 1 HDMI port, not others. Can anybody clarify? I'd greatly appreciate it.

- Answer Yes you can. Up to 4 monitors. The video card has 1 hdmi and 3 display ports.

- Answer You need a DP to VGA cord. This tower uses Display Port for graphics for monitor need VGA cord. I had same issue at first. Get the cord and the graphics are UNBELIEVABLE!

- Answer It should have no issues being upgraded. Everything seems to be the same form factor as you would buy for any other computer. The graphics card is PCIE and most power supplies today are a standard size.

- Answer I would highly recommend investing in an M.2 NvME SSD (like the samsun EVO or PRO models) and install that on the motherboard. That way you don't have to worry about moving around the already packed in cables to add a 2nd SATA III SSD.

- Answer Yes. This tower has two 3.5" HDD brackets and one 2.5" SSD bracket included. As far as SATA connectors are concerned.... the motherboard has FIVE total SATA ports plus two M.2 ports. One M.2 is SATA and the other is NVME.

- Answer Its not loud at all. It makes normal computer noise. Even when gaming and streaming YouTube, its regular fan noise. I have owned this computer for a month, I set it on top of a ottoman from big lots with amble room on its left side.

- Answer I'll give a tentative YES to that. Not sure what model you are considering as this platform has graphics options. I just looked at mine and the 2-bay graphics card has three HDMI ports on it. I think it's a safe bet that mine can run two monitors. I suggest you find out which graphics card is in the one you are looking at. "Most" high-end cards do allow twin monitors. If it matters, my unit was $999, so it does have better goodies than the entry level unit- by the same name and model.
