The Core i3-8100 is a fully quad core chip. It seems like Best Buy copy and pasted the info from the i3-7100 which was a dual core with hyper threading. https://ark.intel.com/products/126688/Intel-Core-i3-8100-Processor-6M-Cache-3_60-GHz
