“My optiplex won't connect to my internet stating I need an Ethernet cable. Is this correct?”

• Funny, Mine did the same thing. I ended up buying a wireless USB adapter and hooking it up to my wifi, as I never could get it to work plugging in the Ethernet.

• That's Correct you need to have an Ethernet cable from your computer to the modem or router. unless you have or add a WiFi card to the computer
