There is one HDMI cable included in the box. You could use one of your existing cables, but keep in mind you can only attach HDMI cables to the monitor. If the cable doesn't match, you'll need an adapter.

I would recommend using the power cable that comes with the Dell monitor to be sure it is getting the right wattage ect. If your current monitor plugged in HDMI , then yes it would work. If your monitor does not plug in HDMI and your computer is very old it may not. Most computers in the last few years have HDMI. If your computer is newer it should have an HDMI.
