You are half right, this monitor has an audio jack that allows your to plug in a speaker, headphone, or earbuds into it. However, this monitor does not support a microphone, in fact there aren't many monitors that support that (if any). I would suggest plugging your headset into the computer's audio and microphone jack, or usb if the headset supports it. If on console just plug it into your controller or the console.
