• Yes with Dell's software this is easily achievable .

• Yes it does have Split Screen functionality. You will need to go to Dell's Support site, look up this model display, and download the "Dell Display Manager" software. Easy to install, and allows you to use different split screen options based on your needs directly from the tray (aka bottom right of your display) without needing to go into the monitors on screen display.
