Yes, works perfectly. If you aren't able to get HDR going, remember to first set that up directly on the monitor using the OSD first then try again with the PS4; it should then recognize that this is an HDR capable monitor albeit at 400 nits; unless you spend over 1.5K on the Asus PGs or get a massive TV (48in OLED, 55QLEDs and above) you'll be hard pressed to find better. I'd focus on the rest of the features and be happy that it's HDR capable but when you do some real research HDR is not quite well developed in most monitors at this mid tier price point without some draw backs and even at the higher end FALD (Full Array Local Dimming) has some blooming and trailing/ghosting effects that aren't typically perceptible but there compared to OLED; OLED cannot quite get as bright either so there is yet to be a perfect HDR solution as of yet no matter the price tag (hopefully Qlit OLED will overcome this; my nomenclature on that last item may be off but it's the idea of using QLED lighiting with OLED cells for color or something like that). Simply put however, it plays great on the PS4 and will be great on the PS5 I believe but HDMI 2.1 is rare on TVs let alone GPUs so unless you want to pay triple the price for a monitor this will give you great value until 4K gaming and above becomes more common with 120Hz or faster which currenlty requires at least a $1300 GPU not to mention the system required to run such a beast of a card. HDMI 2.0 is good for now and this monitor works great with the PS4.
