“This looks like the 2020 model which I have read a lot of reviews on, except everything I've read says the 2 in 1 is last years model. is this the current model? is the current model available in a 2 in 1 flip screen? What am I misunderstanding?”

Jerry, The 2 in 1 is in fact the 2019 model. The 2020 is offered in a touch screen but not a 2 in 1.
