A:AnswerI have installed several SSD's using a SSD to USB cable and the Magician software that comes with all Samsung SSD drives.
You just connect your new SSD to a USB port and run the Magician software which will clone your "C" drive to the SSD.
When complete, shut down and swap the two drives and boot on the SSD.
If you keep the original drive, make sure it is NOT set-up as the primary drive. No master install disks required.
A:AnswerI just checked the sticker (located on the top rear of the desktop) and it says Mfg date: 20150713 so im going to go with 07/15/2015.. I purchased mine around 8/15/15 and was able to get $100 off through the Best buy price match.
