I have installed several SSD's using a SSD to USB cable and the Magician software that comes with all Samsung SSD drives. You just connect your new SSD to a USB port and run the Magician software which will clone your "C" drive to the SSD. When complete, shut down and swap the two drives and boot on the SSD. If you keep the original drive, make sure it is NOT set-up as the primary drive. No master install disks required.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just got a system recovery flash drive from DELL. They will give you 1 flash drive for free but you must call and request it. You can go online and do a media request for the flash drive but I like to talk to a tech and make sure I get it right. Dell is always out of this item to make sure and ash if it is in stock .
