QuestionI bought a Dell Studio XPS 8920 January 2018. I'm interested in creating holograms and also using CAD? Is 16GB enough memory or do I need to upgrade to 32GB or more. Specs indicate that this model is upgradable to 64GB. Geek recommendations?

QuestionWhats the specifics on the RAM? I assume it's DDR4 but is it ECC or non-ECC? Whats the speed 3000mHz? Also how many slots are on the MOBO? Does the computer come with 4 4GB sticks, 2 8GB sticks or one 16GB stick?

- Answer You have to be in a completely quiet room with incredibly good ears to hear anything at a distance of 4 feet. You will be suitably impressed! I have never found another computer to be quieter.

- Answer The processor is fine but ProTools is memory intensive. Make sure you have at least 16GB RAM. More if you can get it.

QuestionCan you install an SSD as the main boot up hard drive by reinstalling the OS onto it and convert the provided 1 TB hard drive as a secondary hard drive? Also, does this support 3 monitors and if not, what would I need to run three? Thanks!

- Answer Speaker wise I’d go with a Klipshe or Logitech set. Preferably a 5.1 setup unless you can’t run the speaker wire to speakers behind where you sit. If you can’t do that then go with a 3.1 system.

- Answer I have used the drive a couple of times with no problems. Have to use your fingernail to push the button to open the door.
