  • QuestionDoes it reheat food?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Sure it will, but a microwave may be quicker... It's good at heating something once the temp has been achieved. All convection style toaster ovens go thru a per-heating cycle. I'd look for it to bake, broil to brown and cook something raw before I'd want to just reheat something - unless I was wanting to browning it better. You'd be hard pressed to fit two dinner plates in this oven - in the open is 13" side to side, front to back it's 11-1/4" which extends out in the back wall of a radius to 13" at center, and then 5-3/4" in the open height.

  • QuestionHow many heating elements are there and their locations and what type/style are the elements? Tks.

    Asked by TruthBeKnown.

    • Answer Three total heating elements - don't think the glass tubes style here cause there not. More durable and better I'd think ! Two line the top and bottom like a wide looping "W" letter feeding from the control operations right side - then held suspended on the left by the boxed/square brackets. The single speed convection fan enclosed behind the ovens inside right side wall is marketed to have a heater element coil around it as well. I say single speed convection as some other markers of Toaster Oven have a Super or Turbo convection feature that adjust the fans speed higher of air flow. Thing I find lacking is the height of the oven from the bottom racks position to the top heating element is only 5-3/4" open for cooking vessels. Mine had some cosmetics blemishes to the front face SS finish and the turn knobs wobble if made too. Turn knobs are good and solid feeling with a little clicking feel when rotated, but they wobble or drift around like their shafts have play to them, I consider it a smallish insides for an oven as it is. Open width side to side is 13" and open depth front to back is 11-1/4" from back corners inward towards center of oven along back wall to a 2-5/8" point which then starts an extended arched radius of the back wall. Which achieves an over-all center point in measurement of 13 inches. The ovens angled front and when the door is closed only seems to affect how the wire-racks set in a litter deeper or shallower off or from the door itself. The ovens adjustable cooking positions of 1 thru 4 levels when the wire-racks are tight against the back wall has a greater distance at the bottom position than at the top position as you'd expect. I liked the seal around where the door closes, but it's claim to an insulated cabinet is lacking by heat felt on the surface of oven - I stupidly touched my hand on top to check. Go to the manufactures website and see - read about it. delonghiusa
