QuestionWhat is the difference between Stilosa and ecp3630? I am trying to understand why ECP3630 is $80 more expensive that Stilosa.

- Answer The milk steamer/frother on the 3630 is adjustable. It is simply on/off on the Stilosa. The picture is from Delonghi.com My EC220 quit a few weeks ago (no longer made) and I replaced it with a Stilosa. It makes a very good espresso but I haven’t quite gotten the technique down for consistently perfect milk froth. Perhaps being able to adjust the steamer would be helpful but I opted to not spend the extra money. Maybe it would have been worth it.

- Answer the two stilosas are made with the exact same set of materials, the only difference is that the more expensive one is unnecessarily marked up and only offers more tempurature control and faster heating.

QuestionHow many ounces of espresso does this machine make at once?

- Answer There is no setting which allows a predetermined amount of expresso. You set the dial to release the water and the expresso will despense into a cup. You’ll need to stop the water by turning the dial off or to start the frothing process. Otherwise the water will keep flowing.

- Answer The portafilter and almost entire water loop is stainless steel. in coffe mode it gets to 195 F, and in steam mode 205F.
