• Yes, you can switch between the 2 zones, playing either by itself or both together. AND the zones can be playing both zones simultaneously at separate volumes (very helpful with a party where you might want inside volume a little quieter than outside.

• I'm still exploring this feature - just purchased a couple of weeks ago. I did successfully set up Zones 1 and 2 (inside and outside speakers). What I haven't completely doped out yet, is what I can play outside on Zone 2 as it appears it might be more limited than what is available to listen on Zone 1.
