• I gave my previous answer too quickly. It will pair Bluetooth devices without HEOS but only to receive input from them; not for purposes of providing output to a speaker.

• I am so sorry that I’m unable to answer your question. We replaced a receiver and the technician wired the Denon to the existing speakers and CD Player. We have speakers upstairs and downstairs the remote that came with the new Denon receiver operates all systems.
