“I’m wondering why is the volume of the Denon receivers too low? I’m using Bose speakers, however the volume between 50-60 is too low. My old reciever sounded louder than my current one. Is it normal that a $200 reciever is stronger than a $900 reciever?”

You may want to check is you are using multi channel output or not . If not change it to that

I would suggest to change to relative volume and get used to "reference" level listening (how to is provided in the link below).
