It has a direct by pass mode, according to Denon. It should. Direct Mode: The Denon AVR-S650H offers a Direct Listening Mode which bypass the receiver's tone & DSP processing for higher sound quality performance. Direct Mode provides playback of 2ch or Multichannel audio in its original form, without any surround or tone processing.
