Yes - you can confidently connect your Nintendo Switch and Blu-ray player to the AVR-S670H without any requirement to change anything with your speaker/subwoofer set-up. If your source's audio mix has more than 5 channels of information, the AVR-S670H will not leave you short, as it will feed the extra channels into a five channel mix. Alternatively, your source software may allow you to select a 5.1 mix in the software's audio section of it's settings/menu.
