“Just purchased a 670 only to find out it will not support 2sets of speakers separately. 1 set in my house another outside on my deck from what I read this sounds like the wrong amp.”

Hello Chuck. Yes - the AVR-S670H is a 5.2 channel AVR. If you wish to drive speakers in another location, the Zone 2 feature can be found on our next model up, which is the AVR-S770H. If you have a large Main Zone or speakers with a more difficult load, you may wish to consider the AVR-X1700H, as it is designed to work with a wider range of speaker load than the AVR-S770H.
