Can an equalizer be connected to this receiver? null

I don't know how you could. There are 4 assignable Audio In connections, but no Audio In connections to route the equalized signal back to the receiver. The receiver does have built-in equalizer functions, though.

Hello, The AVR-S970H has an equalizer built-in. External equalizers are not supported as they require specific connectivity such as (for example) a Tape Loop, which isn't something modern AV receivers typically offer.
