“when i power on my reciever it tells me to restart my reciever i do not know how to or what button on my remote that i'm supposed to use, can you tell me what steps can i take to restart my reciever. and then it shuts down. do i need to bring it in.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. To restart your AVR-S970H, disconnected it from it's power source for 60 seconds and plug it back in again. From there, you can turn it on with the power button on the supplied remote control.
