Yes to switching. Unknown about Siri but this does support Apple Airplay To switch you'll have one HDMI cable going to your TV, you have a cable/satellite going to one input. You'll attach one HDMI cable to your cable or satellite, etc.You'll use an HDMI cable from your Apple TV to another input. You'll use the remote to switch between cable/satellite, Apple TV or anything else you add. You can also switch from the front of the receiver
