  No, the unit does not have 8k/10k functionality. It does support Dolby Atmos and HDR10. It has 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms. It will support 13.2 in the main zone. The model number on this unit is the AVR-X8500H.

QuestionI read this receiver is supposed to get a 2.1 8k hardware board upgrade but I can find no date nor price it will cost. When is it available and how much? Or can i buy it with the 2.1 8k upgraded board already installed new or do u have it for sale w/ 2.1?

  You are able to run 6 Dolby Atmos speakers in a setup. Keep in mind Dolby Atmos minimum setup is 5.1.2 and this unit is capable of 7.2.6.
