You will need a receiver or integrated amplifier in order to power the speakers. An onkyo 500 or 600 series receiver would do great for this task. You can control the onkyo from your Android or Iphone smartphone and stream music from your phone right to the receiver. If you want to stream music from Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, or Google play music you will need a Google Chromecast Audio plugged into one of the ports on the Receiver. Hope this helps.
