A:Answer Technically, you only need a plug adapter for the country you are going to since their power outlets will likely be different than the standard USA 2 prong plug. The charger that came with my DL1036 is made by TEKA and rated at 100 to 240 volts (displayed on bottom of charger), so it auto senses the voltage and handles it. It does not need a power converter that will change the voltage since the charger already does that. When traveling, you need to carry appropriate adapters if all your electronic chargers work on the full voltage range (like 100 to 240). If you have a charger that only works at 120 volts, you may need a voltage convertor in some countries.
