QuestionIs the charging port a micro USB?

- Answer Yes, you can charge the device through the micro USB port. However, doing so does not seem as fast as using the special charger included with the device. That charger is relatively small & light and uses a proprietary round charging port on the device.

- Answer According to Microsoft, the system requirements for Office 16 are 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster x86-bit or x64-bit processor with 2 GB RAM, 3.0 GB available disk space, 1280 x 800 screen resolution. (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026853/office-office-2016-system-requirements) With only 1.33 GHz processor and 2 GB RAM, along with all the space taken up by the new Windows 10 updates, you may want to reconsider installing Office 16. The tablet comes with Office Mobile which I've found works OK since I do most of my work on another Office suite on my laptop.

- Answer It has the mobile versions of office. I haven't used them so I don't know what level of functionality they are. But this tablet does have Office Mobile.

- Answer Yes, you can use a USB mouse, or a Bluetooth mouse (preferred). It has a mail program as part of Windows 10 that can connect to gmail (or any other mail) accounts. You can also use the Edge browser to connect to your gmail account.
