• A:Answer I think it would as my receiver was just replaced and it works fine even though there are a few buttons missing from the regular remote. As info, this remote is very, very similar to the regular Direct TV remote so look at the layout closely to make sure you like it as it works about the same as the regular one. Easy to get operational.
