Yes, there is an SD slot for memory and internal memory. (see https://youtu.be/XY8nDhi8QKw) As for insurance, I think you have to buy it directly from DJI. I hope this helps.

1) No SD card included in the normal package or fly more combo. The drone does record up to 8 GB of footage/pictures internally and has a micro SD card slot for further expansion. 2) DJI Care Insurance is not included in the fly more combo. Hope this helps.

In all listings that ive seen there is no mention of sd card coming with drone, and no you will have to purchase DJI Care Refresh yourself upon activation of drone.
