A:Answer Yes the DJI will work with many phones but my experience is that the balancing is harder to do with ANY phone case on the phone. I have used my DJI with & without my phone case on my iphone 6S. The DJI works with the case either on or off, but the balancing is more presise with the case off. With the phone case still on, the gimble does work harder to maintain the correct balance for recording (using more of the battery life). That's not a problem since it has a 15 hr battery charge on it, but it does seem to work better with the phone case off. That's been my experience.
