- Answer It will work with the iPhone 12 and you can use the DJI mic mini or the mic 2 and 3 from DJI. You don’t need a transmitter. The 7p has a module that is also a mic transmitter

QuestionI use my iphone to record video and export it to my PC for editing. Is it Dockit compatible or do I have go through a lot of manual gymnastics with hidden folders and a third party app to be able to export the footage?

- Answer Ironically, I specifically asked this question because my experience with the app has been very negative. I have another gimbal by DJI that uses the same app and the export process is not as straightforward as you claim.

- Answer With the mini camera/light attachment it can track you with/without the phone. If you pair the phone via Bluetooth, the handle record button works for video or pictures (on my iPhone camera app and presumably the dji app).

QuestionWould this work for recording soccer matches?

- Answer This is a gimbal for your phone. If you are satisfied with phone video of soccer from the sidelines, this makes it smoother panning and tilting. If you are close to the action, the panning might be too slow to keep up with the ball. The dji app may have zoom functions but it’s phone camera zooming from the sidelines…digital camera recording would be better suited to get further into the action. For that a digital camera gimbal would be a significant step up.

- Answer It’s face/person tracking. It may work with a person wearing a full helmet but very unlikely to work with a person in a helmet concealed by a car driving away.

- Answer Recognizably shorter than a standard selfie stick but can work. It does have a great track function and tripod-like legs so you can also set it up to video you or time a picture at a distance…so, hands free selfie?
