    • Answer Yes, the R7 will mount to this and balance with the 15-105. The 24-105 however, may not.

  • QuestionWith a Sony a7 iii can the GM 70-200 be used? Or is it better to stick with the 24-70?

    • Answer If the lens is light weight it could work. Older lens tend to be heavier. 24-70 would be a safer choice. Each axis has to be balanced independently of the other. longer heavier lens could result in too top heavy. Ask on YouTube. There is a lot of valuable free information.

  • QuestionWill this gimbal work with a Sony ZV-1 II camera? The mounting hole has moved from where it was for the ZV-1 I camera. The tripod thread on the base has been shifted farther away from the battery door, it's now offset to the left-hand side of the lens.

    • Answer It will but you need to be careful with lens selection. Any of the STM lenses will work great but heavier L-series glass can be a challenge to balance.
