Q: QuestionDoes it take 175W when I connect a 45watt charger for my Mac? Or does it know to only take 45W from the car battery? Does connecting this inverter automatically takes 175W even nothing is plugged in? Thanks in advance.

• A:Answer This inverter can support 150V continuous with a 175W surge. The device you are describing requires 960W. You will need a larger than can support 1800W peak. We suggest a 1200W or 3000W inverter for this usage.
