The computer will only take 45W. 175W is the maximum available.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Lill, You can put three (3) of your Mac's chargers on the strip and still have wattage capacity for a 40-watt device. They total 175 watts, the total capacity of the device. Make sure you have 15 Amp fuses available in case you blow the fuse, an unlikely event.

I think it starts draining power as soon as connects because the conector tends to get hot after a while even when nothing is plugged in. Not sure the amount of watts pulling out of the battery thou.
