Charging what? It has the prongs to jumpstart your vehicle, and the cord that charges the unit itself. But it does not include any other cords to charge things. It has outlets to plug in your cords to charge stuff.

Yes it has a charging cord and you need to keep it charging all the time to keep the battery in good condition.
