• No... It's a DVD Player. DVDs are different from BluRay discs.

• only Blu-Ray DVD players will play Blu-Ray DVD's...and Blu-Ray players also play regular DVD's too.

• Yes,, mine is the Blue-Ray model. GREAT product with an internet connection for Netflix or whatever site you use.
