- Answer yes, it comes with all the cords you need as far as the colored cords (yellow, red, etc- as long as your tv accepts that)

- Answer Our players are only intended for use in North America, and therefore will only read Region 1.

- Answer Him this DVD does not have an HDMI input and therefore will not work with a TV which only supports HDMI connections. If your set has the component Green/Blue/Red ports on the back, you will surely be able to connect it into your set. Regards, Daniel T. - Insignia Support

QuestionDoes the Insignia TV remote operate this DVD player too?My mom has a 32" Insignia TV recently purchased (2015), and i'm looking for an easy way for her to add DVD capability. does the Insignia remote from the TV operate this DVD player too? I see her remote does have transport (play, FF, rewind, etc) on it. With other brands like Sony, the remotes will operate other devices from the same brand. So I'm asking if anyone has tried to operate this Insignia DVD player using a remote from an Insignia TV

- Answer That is probably a question of merchandizing and cost. I understand your concern but as inexpensive as these units are. It would probably cost more to pay software engineers to develop and produce an update than it would be to manufacture new units..

QuestionDoes this player have the capability to show where you are on the screen to be able to go back to spot where left off? I view this on my computer and can see where I am, stop, how much time is left, etc. When played on t. v. screen, info not there

- Answer Sounds like u didn't hit the " input " button on the tv and change it to " video ". If the tv is still on "tv" mode u will get the grainy picture. Hit the "input" button and select " video"

- Answer It connects to ANY TV that has component video inputs. ( three of them, usuually red, yellow and green) and stereo audio inputs (ususally red and blacvk)
