I bought this to play CD's it works just fine, it had regular RCA output connections for audio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say yes it would! Depends if it is an MP3. If it is not an MP3 it should play audio only!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not think this will work for that purpose unless the music is on a DVD. You will also need to connect the audio side to an amplifier source. It really depends on how you will be connecting to an output device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It plays audio CDs I have at home. I haven't tried burned CD's yet though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will play CDs. Yes, you CAN run the audio through JVC cables. However, you will need a TV to see what you are doing. A better option, assuming you want to stay in the price range of this DVD player, is to run a portable CD player (like the old Sony Discman) through a double male 3.5mm jack into your system. You can get a DC "wall wart" to power it and save money on batteries in the long run.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will, but you may need to connect it to a display to use the onscreen menu to select the music and make any changes.
