• Yes. Widescreen is the format of all of our DVDs and they play on this player without distortion.

• For the best compatibility, use component cables to ensure that it's displaying in 480p. The aspect ratio should match that of the DVD (widescreen or full). If you are using the normal composite cables, your TV will stretch the image to fill the screen because it is displaying in 4:3. To correct it, you will need to adjust the picture size on your TV to Native or 4:3.
