Q: QuestionUnit keeps turning itself off.For the past month my DX55L150A11 (purchased @ a Dallas Best Buy, 02/22/2011) will just go to sleep. Turn it back on and again the unit turns itself off. I've had the AT&T service tech to disconnect all other peripherals, the TV again would turn itself off. It may be on for minutes or hours, then all of a sudden it turns itself off. Q: IS THERE A FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM OR IS MY DX55L150A11 ON LIFE SUPPORT, APPROACHING DOA.

Q: QuestionCause for green picture with wavy linesMy 55" Dynex is about 3 years old. About once every 3-4 days the picture goes from excellent to greenish wavy lines. Turning the TV off and back on corrects this for the next time period. What parts might need replacement to correct this? A previous post also reported this but the only response was to have it repaired if the problem persisted. What is the cause of this problem?

Q: QuestionTV keeps shutting off and on then stays off.My TV is 15 months old. It shuts off and then comes back on. It does this about three times and then shuts off. When I turn it on it shuts off again. I unplugged it and pushed the power button for 30 seconds and it works for about a half an hour and shuts off again. Is there a way I can tell if there is a problem with the main board or the power board? Is there a way to run a test on it? Thanks

Q: QuestionOld XBOX and AVI inputI have no issues with my TV for the most part, but on occasion (during one movie on Netflix, and while trying to play my old Xbox) the TV randomly shuts off. With the movie it was only when there was an explosion (but it doesn't do it during any other movie even with major explosions). With the Xbox, it worked fine for a while, and now I can't get the power to stay on for more than 30 seconds. I have never had a problem with DVDs, Blurays, or the Xbox 360.

• A:Answer You may adjust your TV's aspect ratio settings by pressing ZOOM on your remote control one or more times. If your video source (e.g., cable box, disk player, game console, etc.) is connected via HDMI, you may disable Overscan in the Advanced Video Settings. I also recommend adjusting the video output settings of your video source to "widescreen" or "16:9" so that your TV receives a natively compatible signal. I hope this helps.

Q: QuestionCan we use Captions with a HDMI source?We are unable to turn on the captions for a HDMI source (i.e. HD cable box). We have the caption option wen we are using another source (i.e. component, video). But when we are in the HDMI source we do not have this option on the menu and thus it appears we are not able to use captions for the HDMI source. Is this correct?

• A:Answer remember you will need an hd converter box or blu-ray player(ps3)in order to get the best picture quality on this type of tv's if you just plug in the coax cable to the back of the tv you will get a lot of pixalation and blurry picture bad quality cause this tv will enhance what ever picture you put in to it also you have to watch from a distance and not too close even with hd quality signals !!!

Q: Questionjust bought the 55L and when I turn the power on it says please wait, but nothing happens. I think its frozen there. Can anything be done about this.
